I’m Ben Bedard, I’m with the law firm of Roberts, Reynolds, Bedard & Tuzzio in West Palm Beach, Florida. I have worked with Magnus for a number of years and they are a company that I continue to go back to, to use for my jury consultant services. They’re excellent and they help you throughout the entire process. One of the things I think is very important, especially in handling a high profile or high-exposure cases, is that you spend the money with Magnus in order to properly evaluate your case, also to assess it for future strategy recommendations, and then the eventual jury selection process, if necessary. They’re also very helpful with putting together graphics that can tie-in with your themes, and with what your strategies are in the case, so that not only are you gathering the information during the mock jury time period, but you’re also taking that, and then utilizing your strengths, and your strategies that you gain from the mock jury analysis, in your exhibits and in your approach during trial. They’re very easy to work with. They’re very dedicated, and they are able to look at the whole picture and work as part of your team. One of the cases that I recently worked with Magnus on involved some very difficult and complex issues that do not come up on a daily basis. It was a very unique case. With Magnus we set up a mock jury to kind of see what the significant or difficult issues may be from our perspective in the case. After doing the analysis Magnus came up with a lot of strategies and ideas, and in fact I changed my presentation on how I originally did it during the mock jury phase, took the information provided by Magnus, and then approached it very differently when we were actually in trial, and as a result I believe that is why we had such a successful result. In our case we had a defense verdict, which was in favor of my client, so he was very satisfied, and Magnus also provided the graphics, which we utilized extensively throughout the trial, which made our presentation very streamlined, and I think very easy for the jury to understand some difficult issues.
