I am David Fonvielle. I’m a plaintiff’s lawyer in Tallahassee, Florida, and I’ve worked with Melissa Pigott and Magnus, for over 20 years with my plaintiff’s cases. I know from that experience that it’s absolutely essential, before you go to trial on any complex case and complex litigation, that you learn everything that you can about the case. Most importantly to me is learning about the venire of the potential jury and without Melissa, I can tell you that you cannot be properly prepared to try a complex case.
Several years ago, Melissa Pigott and I mock-tried a very difficult, comparative negligence case, three times. This case was a South Florida case, and I was very concerned about how it was going to play upon the jury. It ended up that I had to try this case with almost no preparation, because I was pulled out of another trial, and straight into this one with not 24 hours of preparation time for this second trial. I ended up trying the case, virtually by the book, from the mock trials that Melissa and I did, and we ended up with exactly the same comparative negligence split from the jury and exactly the same damages from the mock juries, that were produced when we mock-tried the cases. This has been the most phenomenal experience I’ve had with Magnus Research, or any other research company that I can think of, and I would highly recommend both Melissa and Magnus Research, for any type of trial preparation.
In today’s jury environment, I don’t see how it would be possible or fair to your client to try a case without utilizing the services of Melissa and Magnus for preparation of your jury selection.
