Florida Bar Advanced Trial Advocacy Program

Dr. Pigott was on the Faculty for the Advanced Trial Advocacy program held annually by the Florida Bar.  The multi day program brings together top trial faculty members and provides the most advanced CLE program offered by the Bar.  It was held at the University of Florida Law School from May 13 to 16, 2015.

Jacksonville Claims Association Presentation

Dr. Pigott presented Litigation Lessons Learned: Risk Assessment Though Mock Jury Research, Case Challenges and Results, a 2 hour CE program to the adjusters from the various insurance professionals who were in attendance.  The Jacksonville Claims Association meeting was held at the DeerCreek Country Club.

Dr. Pigott to present to Palm Beach State Attorney’s Office

Dr. Pigott is to present “Common Mistakes Attorneys Make in Voir Dire” to the Palm Beach State Attorney’s office in early March. Her presentation is based on her 2001 publication, “Twenty-Five Common Mistakes Attorneys Make in Voir Dire” in The Practical Litigator which followed her 2000 ABA presentation on this topic.
